Hello friends!  I am so happy to be part of this group of activists and dreamers.  Practicing awareness of mind, body and spirit, conserving our planet, being committed to being present, sending encouragment, compassion and love out and breathing it in, and studying dharma are all central to my life.  I also love to read, cook, visit, have long provocative conversations, dance, write, camp, hike, and write lyrics and poetry, and listen to music. I have big arms and support and inspire those who come into my life.  I came to the desert from NYC, grew up in Jersey, and still love the NY Yankees and the Giants.   I visit NY several times a year as my family is still there.  
I have grown attached to the space in the desert and the enormous quiet and banquet of stars available as soon as you move an inch outside Tucson.  And, of course the incredible talent of the visual sky artist at sunset gives reason for celebration.  
I have two incredible children who are grown and making their way on the planet.  I live with two highly demanding cats whom I love dearly.  I teach humanities at the high school level, and love what I do.  I also have a small life-meditation coach practice.  My day begins and ends with meditation practice and study of Buddhism. I have just started building a serenity garden in my backyard and would love any suggestions for that.  I hope all of you are well.
